I saw you in Hull at the Freedom Festival and I have never forgotten your performance. So moving, funny profound . Hope you come back . You say more in silence than a million speeches about what it is to be human. Thank you and may all your endeavours flourish.

Your performance there was far and away the best part of the Droving, and the best part of any Droving I've been to. It was heartbreaking, funny and so terribly, beautifully human. It moved me to tears. Thank you for showing us how powerful and moving street theatre and clowning can be. Being part of a crowd moving from spectators to participants was life-affirming. I'm profoundly grateful.

The way that the company interacted with people was extraordinary to watch in a town not used to such a thing (I hoped for this and the company understood perfectly). There is a gentleness and an insistence on interaction that achieves something so perfect in being both challenging and non-threatening at the same time - through giving and playing and touching and being human. I love the spirit of generosity that the company brings and shares - dissolving boundaries of class, politics, and the awful binary YES/NO world that we live in. KAMCHATKA is a beautiful thing that we need very much. I loved meeting the company and I am so proud to have had them here, they are so easy to work with if you understand that you just need to create the situation for them and then let their artistry and humanity happen....

As strangers we understood each other and were not strangers any more.

I just want to say how moved we were by your performance at the Penrith Drovers weekend.
I attend a lot of theatre here in Edinburg, especially during the Edinburgh Festival and love street performance.

This was a revelation, something we were not expecting at this event and it is the first time we have attended.

At first we thought it was a fun performance but it quickly became obvious it was anything but.
As the crowd gathered and the performers lined up carrying their cases and climbing the barrier, I was the first person to go to help the woman, Cristina I think it was looking at your website. What was really interesting that the crowd were hesitant in going to help, this might happen in ‘real life’. But we see this on the tv so often in ‘real life’. It is nothing new to us. The way the woman held her hand out, thrusting it out, you could not stand there and do nothing, also interesting was the majority of those going to help were women and one very small little girl aged about 3 years went forward to take a suitcase...
One small show you come across unexpectedly has had such an impact on me and may husband,

Thank you so much

Dearest Kamchatka
The Best experience this year on Skanderborg Festival was absolutely you. I adored the innocent expression and your way of being respectful in contact with you audience- that is a seldom view these days. I still wonder what thoughts there are behind your old fashioned out dress- but it al was so poetic and beautiful. Just wanted to thank you all for your wonderful visit in the bar 😊 hope to see you again in Denmark. The kindest and thankful regards Sidsel - the bartender 😉

You have probably heard this a hundred times, but I feel the need to expess it. I took part in Musica fugit in Utrecht. You and all the other performers have made a real impact in my life.

It was an experience that brought many questions about choices and consequences, about courage, principles, doubt and conscience. It made me more compassionate about my parents and the choices they made when they faced an enemy.

I chose not to hand over my phone and ID, a choice I doubted the entire time, but that ultimately feels right. The whole experience still resonates in my mind and in my heart.

Thank you for a thought-provoking performance, that tought me something about myself. I hope you will touch many other people's lives.

Muchas gracias

You made the world a bit more beautiful and also my life. Medicine for heart and mind. Saw the company for the first time during ISTF / Miramiro Gent. I was there and member of the jury ;-). Then the 'love' started...

Yesterday I saw musica fugit in Utrecht.
Thank you so much. It is difficult to explain what I felt, but in the end I had to cry. Sometimes I was really afraid.
Thank you Thank you and go on like this.

Dear Kamchatka artists. I want to thank You from the depth of my heart. I followed Your performance for two days in Kraków, Poland. One day the way led to the fountain and ended in a car, the other I took the way through a clothes store and ended up in front of a hotel. I became "addicted" to this show. Why? Because You opened my heart again. I really neeeded to participate, not just observe. You gave your heart each day to us so I decided to give You my heart. Many times I lose hope and faith in theatre. Offical or alternative groups become distand. Even participation and interaction is becoming "part of the deal" in the show. In your case... I felt naked. My soul was naked in front of You. But welcomed. ... Maybe it will sound naive, but I felt a release. I decided to forgive someone who hurt me, because my heart felt free for the first time sine very very long. You gave me back my vulnerability. Thank You for Your humanity! Poland is a country of many wars. During Your show I thought about my grandfather who lost all his family in Ucraine in 1945 and was a refugee ever since. I think many people can relate to Your show in a historical or personal way. Kamchatka is a great metaphor of human condition. You save souls, people. You really saved my soul. Yu saved my soul when You made me enter the fountain. You saved my soul when You encouraged me to look in Your eyes. It WAS difficult at times, really. But it felt safe with You. You save my sul when You made me lay on the Main Sqare in pouring rain and just look in the sky...... I MISS IT already. THANK YOU. GRACIAS!
